Steffi and Ben were walking on a bridge one day and the water and sun created a rainbow right next to the bridge. As they were passing that rainbow, kind of "walking through" that rainbow Steffi was amazed about the beauty of God in a sense that His dwelling place is surrounded by a rainbow that is shining like beautiful gems (Rev 4,3). That's were it started. To be honest. First it was just that funny idea of that chorus, joking around a bit. And some years later... there you go: "Rainbow" was created.
